Reviews
Very happy with purchase
Im very happy that Citizen brought back this watch. It was rough on the secondary market as many of the older watches’ dive sensors don’t work. I’ve wanted this model for a while and hope citizen brings back other vintage models.
Love it=I bought 4
The Legend is back! I owned the OG 1985 model. Regretfully sold it a long time ago. Now Citizen brought back my Holy Grail watch which I will now keep forever. Last year, 2024 I bought the fully Lumed dial Aqualand, the JP-2007-09W. I love it. But the 40th anniversary brings back the OG Gold accents, black dial and famous legendary nuclear orange minute hand. The Greatest Diver of All-Time! I love this legend so much I actually bought 4 of them.
I love that watch, I had one about 30 years ago and gave it away like an idiot, it also came in all black, I’ve been trying to find that watch ever since I gave my original one away, it came in what looked like a scuba air tank, again great watch, a littl
Great watch! 30years ago it also came in all black, bring that model back too.
Memories
This watch definitely brings back memories from when I was a teenager back in the 80s. It’s a great looking watch and feels great on the wrist.
Awesome watch and a joy to dive!
This new reproduction anniversary edition If not for the case back cover would would be hard pressed to tell it from the origional. Back in the day the back cover was the shape of the case secured by 6 screws. My origional shown in the photo is still running strong after 40 or so years. I would really like to refresh the bezel dial which would return it to like new condition.
Fans of this watch, this is awesome. I honestly dont use it for diving, but the look, feel, and the way it sits on your hand is great. Its a limited edition, and if you are into diving watches this is really nice. The rotating bezel is great. In addition the stopwatch in the digital display is very helpful. I am constantly timing my activities one way or the other. It takes less than 5 minutes to set and these new Citizen Promasters are really easy to learn. Its a one time setup. Its also very light and the colors look really nice. I am going to pull it out of my watch collection now and put it on for the night!
Great diving watch
Really nice piece - got the first one/edition in the 90's and this is a bit like 'back to the future'. Super fast shipping. Thank you.
Very pleased
Very happy with the watch and quality. Glad I purchased this watch.
A real dive instrument
Still have my origional it was among the first dive gear I purchased. Startung to show its age but it still works flawlessly 40+ years later
